VLADIMIR KARALEEV S/S 2010 »Untitled Structures« presents a variety of diverse materials and textures combined with extraordinary contouring. Draped fabric conveys numerous abstract shapes. The collection offers geometric shapes, offering geometric details that form a contrast to randomly temerging elements which appear to be arranged in chaotic order. Sheer fabric and floating materials emphasize the incosistency of the collection and induce a certain distinctive formation. Dominant this season is the integration of delicate and harmonic colors which avoid sharp contrasts. »Untitled Structures« focuses on formal opposites and haptic attraction. Thus special emphasis is put on the shape and texture rather than on the colors.
